October is cybersecurity month. With more and more stories of companies getting hacked, a lot of times we will get questions from business owners and IT directors about what to do. Many ask what one piece of cybersecurity software should we add?

If you are looking to add one piece, one piece is not enough. Cybersecurity is very broad, and it is basically a layered approach. If you don’t have multiple pieces in there, you really are not protecting yourself. There are great pieces of cybersecurity out there like Endpoint, but you really need to pair them with other things like:

Dark web
MFA….Multi factor authorization

Employee Training Services are very important. Humans make mistakes and if they are not trained properly, you are going to have a problem on your hands.

Please remember, when you are doing a cybersecurity package, it really should be a package. It shouldn’t be focused on one item. IT companies shouldn’t really be piecing these out and selling them individually, they should be selling them as one complete package.
